He ran as fast as his staggering legs could carry him. Adding to the pain was his heart, forcing out then red liquid of life into the free air through his veins. The spiral stairway seemed an extra mile or more to his weak eyes. Sweat was more or less like a waterfall, gushing out to let off his frustration through puny droplets. All he had in his hand was an olive twig, dedicated to his only care in the entire universe. His throat was dry, begging for at least a few drops of water. Approaching the door, he gave out a wry smile, knowing that his motive was about to be completed within a minute or two. Somehow, he forced himself out into the backyard of his enormous house. Reaching out to his loved one, he placed the twig in front of his care. All that he could say was, "I am coming, ma." Lying beside the erected slab, he shut his eyes into the galaxy of the good. He just became twelve on that day. Twelve forever.
