A polish emigrant to uk survived a burial attempt from the hands of her fiance back in 2011. 
she described the ordeal to a british court, of the fear she felt, being burried alive with hands and legs tied, concealed in a closed box and being burried 4 inches below a tree trunk.
She stated that she was suffocating to death as she kept praying-she had to be alive to look after her young son.
burried underground for half an hour, she used her engagement ring to cut the tapes and dig her way out. Her fiance was sentenced to 20yrs of imprisonment.
What's strange though is that the husband burried her and the ring given by him, saved her !
