It was raining when Mr. Singh had been returning from a distant relative’s residence. The Grand Trunk Road, bore its resemblance amidst the headlights of his Ford Endeavour, and no one was to greet him or to warn him of his speeding vehicle, which might just skid on the road, and cause any sort of accident. It was as if the whole world had been vacant and the void space filled up by rain, cloud, thunder and lightning. The sky seemed to have been wrapped up and the fearsome rain just swept the entire universe.
All these didn’t quite register in Mr. Singh’s mind, as he was only concerned of his warm bed, awaiting his arrival, and his thoughts were not even disturbed by the relentless drumming of the rain drops of his drive roof.
His car was just on the outskirts of the city, when the frightful incident happened. Even the slightest hope of a peaceful rest, got hold of Oblivion’s Curse, suddenly as his car hit someone. A shrill cry followed by a distant rumble of the overhead sky, brought back his waywardness into consciousness and his legs on his brakes.
Mr. Singh is an M.B.B.S. doctor. He kicked himself, and got off to check the matter. The rain ignored to show any mercy on him and kept on pouring. He spotted, in the foggy mist, a man lying at a distant side of the road, and blood spilled all over the road.
Such a terrifying show, broke through his ribs, into his nerves, and he sprung up to a conclusion that he had to escape soon, his legs followed the accelerator of the car and he felt relieved , when suddenly, he was disturbed by a knock. A knock in his side window! He closed his eyes and kept on pressing the accelerator. Suddenly a bang, and things just got jumbled up. Mr. Singh stood up on his bed, to find himself in his room, beside his fifteen year old son. He was full wet out of sweating. But the consolation that he got was the fact that he was dreaming, urged him to sleep again for the rest of the night.

Based on a true story at Amity campus, this is about a wounded dog and humanity
One fine afternoon, during my lunch break, I was heading towards the cafeteria to grab a can of cold coffee . Just outside the cafe, I noticed a stray dog, sitting awkwardly. Not untill he stood up did I noticed that the poor thing has badly hurt his right hind leg. The cafeteria was amidst an array of several food stalls including a department store and as a result, the place was overcrowded. I thought of feeding the poor dog for long but couldn't do it just out of mere embarrassment. I left the place with my can of coffee, ashamed and disgusted with myself.
The next day I returned, determined to feed the dog. I bought a packet of biscuit and went towards the dog. As I threw a biscuit which fell a bit too far away from the dog(horrible aim) the dog looked at me with sad eyes clearly asking for more. this time I bend and dropped some right infornt of him. He greedily started eating-unable to walk, he was clearly starving. As I fed the dog I looked around to see if anyone was looking and to my surprise everyone was. I felt a bit embarrassed but I didn't left this time. I left only when I had finished feeding him all the biscuits. few days I kept feeding him gradually becoming less and less concerned about who is thinking what until one day a girl walked upto me. I stared her- she was smiling, she knelt down and gave the dog a bowl of soup which the dog drank happily wagging his tail.
One cannot just make others to do the right thing-to force them to show humanity but, when they will see you do the right thing, they will eventually join you. The torch of Humanity can't be invented, it can only be passed on from one to another....
Here's a list of what these century defining heroes said when people tried to chain them down..

2. Napoleon Bonaparte- "The world suffers a lot. Not because of the violence of bad people, but because of the silence of good people."
3. Albert Einstein-"I am thankful to all those who said no to me. It's because of them that I did it myself."
4. Abraham Lincoln- "You can fool- all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but not all of the people all the time."
5. Michael Jackson- "You can stop yourself from watching, but not me from dancing- it's who I am."

Einstein was the first one to propose gravitational lensing, a phenomena which suggests bending of light when passed through an immense gravitational field. It's most important use is to see distant objects which normally would have been completely oblivious from us.

A 12-year-old girl was snatched by four men on her way home from school early in June.
A week later, kidnappers were moving her with police in pursuit when three lions encountered the group and chased the men off, local police said.
The lions stayed with the girl without harming her, before departing as police searching for her came near.
Sergeant Wondmu Wedaj told the media from Bita Genet, some 560 kilometres (348 miles) south-west of the capital, Addis Ababa, that they found the girl alive but shocked and terrified.
"They stood guard until we found her and then they just left her like a gift and went back into the forest," the policeman said.
The girl told the police she had been beaten by her kidnappers, but no harm was done to her by the lions.
An Ethiopian wildlife expert said the lions may have spared the girl because her crying may have sounded like the mewing sound from a lion cub.
